He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester Blodgett and Beatrice Blodgett (Whisenhunt); his wife Minnie Lou Blodgett; his daughter Misty Dyrer (Blodgett); and his siblings, Charles, Jack Blodgett and Anna Marie Blodgett.

He is survived by: his son Jody Blodgett (Kara) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Addison Blodgett and Jayden Blodgett; his sisters, Margie Shepard (Don) of Wilson and Linda Sanders of Wilson; and his sisters-in-law, Rondalynn Blodgett of Lone Grove and Darlene Gray of Ardmore.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
