He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruby Rickets (Ayres) and Don Alexander Rickets. He is survived by : his son Joe Ben Rickets III (Bonnie); his wife Teresa Rickets; his stepdaughter Leah Lacy; his grandchildren, Joe, Devan, Cydnie, Hailee and Jason; his grandfathers, Ben and Billy Harmon; his sisters, Nancy Snow (George) of Wilson and Carole Martin (Larry) of Marietta; and his sister-in-law Denisa Ramsey (Kip). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
