She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ray Sitton and Mary Lynn Sitton (Montgomery); her son Brad Burnell; and her siblings, John Ray Sitton of Tyler, Loray and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Garrett of Ardmore; her son Shawn David Burnell of Tyler, TX; her brother Rick Sitton (Karen) of Bella Vista, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Devin Helm and Ryan Burnell; and her sisters-in-law, Deborah Sitton of Tyler, TX, Pam Griggs (Tim) of Lone Grove and Brenda Martin (Chris) of Moore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Cemetery.
