It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Chester Shelley of Woodward, Oklahoma, born in Seminole, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John William and Joan Ann Shelley (Wheeler); and his grandparents, Chester, Vivan Wheeler, Jack and Lily Shelley.

He is survived by : his wife Kim Canning; his daughters, Tarron Powell of Oklahoma City and Tamara Day (Jack) of Woodward; his grandsons, Grady Stocking of Jacksonville, Knox Stocking of Woodward and Justin Day of Wheatland, Missouri; his daughter Kim Shelley of Woodward; his brother Rick Shelley (Christine) of Hays, Kansas; and his nephews, Jonathon, Garrett, William and Mark Shelley.

A reception was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church (1620 Lincoln Ave, Woodward, OK 73801).
