He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Young and Alta Ward Young; his sisters, Jo Ann Young and Beverly McCarthy; and his son-in-law Patrick Morse.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Ann Cross; his children, Tommy Joseph Young of Oklahoma City and Marilyn Ann Young of Chandler; his grandchildren, Kyle Joseph Morse and Valerie Gene Morse; his children, Robert Houston Young of Seiling, Kade Young (Taylor) and Kahle Young (Jennifer); his granddaughter Elizabeth Jane; his child McKenzie Young; his stepgrandsons, Brandon Bullard, Troy Bullard (Shannon) and Tyson Bullard (Micah); and his sister-in-law Sherry Young (Gary) of Enid.
