He was predeceased by: his mother Mable Emma Squires (Gore); his daughter Marsha Leann; his father Everett Squires; his parents-in-law, Charles and Peggy Hulett; and his brothers, Richard and Donnie Squires.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Squires of Woodward, Oklahoma; his son Jeff Squires of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his brother Carlos Squires (Paula) of Carnegie, Oklahoma; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Squires of Hobart and Lois Squires of Taloga, Oklahoma. He is also survived by other extended family members and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lenora Church.
