He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Sr. and Dora Ellen Hunkapillar Claborn; and his siblings, J. R. Claborn, Mildred Harvey, Betty Harrison and Patrevia Ann Taylor.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Susan Claborn) and Danny (Barbara Roberts); his sister Shirley Johnson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his close friend Marie Hadley of Eagletown, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Corey Claborn of Glover, Kit Claborn of Springdale, Tony Roberts of Holly Creek and Tommy Roberts of Glover, Oklahoma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Joe Slater Cemetery.
