We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2025, at the age of 89, Alfred Frederick Hampton of Wyandotte, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hampton and Ruth Adeline Hampton (Clay); his siblings, Ennis Frank Hampton (Dorothy) and Helen Adeline Bailey (Jack); his siblings' children, Freddie Perry Bailey and Margaret Ann Gilmartin (John); his in-laws, Lloyd Gene and Cleo Lorraine Webber; his siblings-in-law, Karen Jean Webber and Bruce Seybold; and his nephew-in-law Nathan Wayne Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Kay; his children, Clay Gene Hampton (Lacey Lynn) and Amy Lorraine Maddy Rinker (Jeffrey Scott); his grandchildren, Tess Elizabeth Sumner, Hailey Jo, Jalyn Kate Hampton, Erin Elizabeth, Benjamin James Maddy, Isaac Albert and Hannah Elizabeth Rinker; his great-nieces, Cindi Jo Smith (Curt), Kati JuneAnn Broyles and Helen Marie Warren; his great-nephew Derrick Lee Warren (Sara); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Seybold (Webber) and Colleen Ruth Dennis (Loren); his niece-in-law Sarah Lorraine Cunningham (Steve); Noah. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Fairland (407 W Conner Ave, Fairland, OK 74343). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Fairland First Baptist Church.
