He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Woodrow Ellsworth Stratton and Jewel Elizabeth Stratton (Ward); his grandparents, James David Ward, Ginevra Ward (Mills) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma., Joseph Uriah Stratton and Charlotta Stratton (Dawson); his wife Deborah Kay Dawson; his daughter Sherri Jo Stratton (Smith) of Oklahoma City; his grandsons, Daniel Marcus Smith and Charles Jacob Smith; his brothers, John Michael Stratton (Sylvia) of Rose Hill and Daniel Alvin Stratton (Sharon); and his sisters-in-law, Glenda Cordale of Mount Juliet, Lynette Sue Myers of Wynnewood, Ricki Jean Looney of Pauls Valley and Faith Garver Campbell (Patrick) of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God (32151 OK-19, Pauls Valley, OK 73075).
