We announce the death of Velma Lucille Morphew of Yale, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 85. Velma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jester and Mary Jester (McCall); her husband Jack Howard Morphew; her grandson Trey Seward; and her siblings, Wayne Jester, Robert Jester and Louise Norris.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Morphew (Teresa) and Jeff Morphew (Laura); her grandchildren, Curtis Morphew (Shea), Casie White (Taylor), Kendal Morphew (Chelsie) and Kaleb Morphew (Cheyenne); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Avery, Gracey, Kymber, Kreed, Kolby, Maycie, Jackson, Josie, Brantley, Brayden, Trinity, Skyler, Walker, Asher and Amelia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
