He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Brian Wyatt and Genevieve Lorraine Wyatt; his wife Sharon Wyatt; his son Darrel Wyatt, Jr.; and his siblings, Jerry Sims and Karen Huggins.
He is survived by: his sister Sandra Gale Peters; and his children, LaDora, Fern and Jeanne. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
