He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Brainard and Delberta Brainard; and his son Johnathan Brainard. He is survived by: his daughter Ariel Braswell (George); his grandchildren, Finn and Kennedy; and his sisters, Connie Dantes (Andy), Carol Albrecht (Myron) and Dana Parker (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
