He is survived by: his sister Christine Compton; his wife Lareta Johnson; and his children, Bryan Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Brett Johnson, Brent Johnson (Amber Johnson), Karen Leatherwood, Lavone Anderson and Barbara Gwinn (Bryan Gwinn). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, lifelong friends.
