He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Matt Laverty (Carey) of Yukon and Cara Pattison (Patrick) of Yukon; his grandchildren, Lydia, Gavin Laverty, Emily, Conner Pattison and Sadie Mae Laverty; and his siblings, Alvie Laverty (Willa) of Gate, Jerald Laverty of Gate, Russell Laverty (Nancy) of Jones, Curtis Laverty (Deanna) of Slapout, Juanell McLaurine of Temple, Texas and Carl Laverty (Cheryl) of Laverne.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Frisco Cemetery.
