James Wilson Gipson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wilson Gipson of Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Gipson and Sidney Gipson; and his brother Dallas Gipson. He is survived by: his wife Irene Gipson; his daughter Jodi Daly-McClaren; his son-in-law Jason McClaren; his grandson Sean Daly, Jr. of Yukon, Oklahoma; and his brother Bill Gipson (Lisa) of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Additionally, he served as a W. A. T. C. H. Dog (Watchdog) at Lakeview Intermediate School in Yukon until the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic.
