It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry J. Kapka of Yukon, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Kapka and Ruth Kapka (Warlick); his sisters, Betty Brown and JoAnn Murphy; his brothers-in-law, Wilburn Ogburn and Ray Brown; his son Jeffrey Kapka; his nephew Kevin Murphy; and his granddaughter Millie Thomason.
He is survived by: his wife Davonne (Ogburn); his children, Michael (Karen), Jason (Tracy) and Melody (Tim); his grandchildren, Samuel Kapka, Tyler Thomason, Hannah Thomason, Cooper Thomason, Allyssa Spencer (Steven), Alexis McCain, Brooke Heard and Kendra Masteller; his great grandchildren, Sage Spencer, Preston Heard and Rowan Millard; his son-in-law Todd Thomason; his sister-in-law Kitty Ogburn; his nieces and nephews, Nancy Nakayama (Yaz), Marsha Grimm (late Russ), Jane Davis (Rocky), Carl Ogburn (Kara), Brenden Murphy and Cullen Murphy; and his pet Annie.
