With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Massey of Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 41. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Massey to pay them a last tribute.
Though Joe may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joe touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Curry Massey and Linda Massey; his sisters, Leslie Hedrick (Joe) and Maggie Massey; and his nephews, Alden and Henry Hedrick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mullinax Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (10 S High St, Butler, MO 64730). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (400 W Nursery St, Butler, MO 64730).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Joe's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.
