He is survived by: his wife Lavae Downey; his sons, John Todd Downey (Townie) of Midwest City and Brian Downey (Terri) of Oklahoma City; his brother Fran Downey (F. L.) of Maysville; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Allen (Kay) of Guymon and Janice Barnicoat (Dale) of Portland, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Rebekah Downey of Pink, Dr. McKenzie Kerner (Richard) of Oklahoma City, Ethan John Downey (Anesia Aguirre) of Oklahoma City and Calen Fife (Christa); his great grandchild Celeste of Midwest City; his grandson Brandon Grissam (Sara); his great grandchildren, Jayden and Emma of Midwest City; his grandchild Kyle Grissam (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Dayton and Cooper of Harrah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
