He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Dennis, Brenda Choate (James), Daniele Steele (Brad), Johnny Ballard (Lisa), David Ballard and Benjamin O'Dea; his grandchildren, Jodi Wallace (Michael), Tyler Choate, Desiree Steele (Hunter Herron), Sierra Bagley (Bryson), Ryan Choate, Chandlor Ballard, Justin Ballard, MacKenzie Steele (Chase Tanner), Ayden Ballard (Kelsey Lemaster) and Victoria Steele; his great grandchildren, Waylen Wallace and Isla Herron; and his siblings, Sue Varner (John) and Eddie Ballard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Bikes were donated by many local merchants and individuals.
