With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn Hester Gibson of Yukon, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sofia Shaw and William Shaw. She is survived by: her sister Louise; her husband A. L. Evans; her son Arthur Louis; her grandchildren, Kimberly Cambell, Mathew Riley and Dylan Evans; her great grandchildren, Fergus Campbell and Elena Riley; her children, Mike, Anne, Janelle, Pam and John; and also, Billy and Orville.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at the Bethany Cemetery.
