She is survived by: her husband Gale Collins Dawson; her daughters, Donna Sharpe (Vance), Joyce Hice (Larry), Patty Eisenhour and Kim Dawson; and her brothers, Ronny and Dennis. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
