It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lou (Yukon, Oklahoma), born in Sulphur, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Margaret leaves behind and her impact on our lives. Though Margaret may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear, a guiding light that illuminates our paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Grady Kirk and Mary Kirk; her sister Wanda Potter; her husband Jesse Jones; and her daughter Christy Rubes (Jones).
She is survived by : her sister Donna Skoch of Yukon; her daughter Sherry Jones Nowack of Owasso; her sons-in-law, John Nowack of Owasso and Jim Rubes of Yukon; and her grandchildren, Kayla and Jesse Nowack. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yanda and Son Funeral Home (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Yukon Cemetery (660 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
