With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin Moses Jr. of Yukon, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin E. "Gene" Moses Sr. and Carolyn J. Moses. He is survived by: his son Christopher Carter (Moses); his granddaughter Madison Riley; and his sisters, Edwina Floyd of Bethany, Angi Davis of Kingfisher and Dee Patty of Yukon. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams Funeral Service (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Chapel (7801 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery (7500 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132).
