We announce the death of Michael Wayne Wilkerson of Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 62. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie Wayne Wilkerson. He is survived by: his mother Wilberta Ann Wilkerson (Hamon) of Shawnee, OK; his wife Elizabeth Wilkerson (Riebe); his daughters, Natasha Moore (Robb Moore) of Dallas, TX and Britni Wilkerson of Dallas, TX; his stepsons, Patrick Patterson (Cordia) of Merritt Island, FL and Dylan Wilkerson of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Chase French, Frankie French of Dallas, TX, Brooklynn Wilkerson of Dallas, TX and McKenna Patterson of Merritt Island, FL.; his siblings, Jeffrey Wilkerson (Diane) of San Diego, CA. and Cheryl Lambert (Donny) of Shawnee, OK; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Kamaka of Rosemount, MN, Tammy Riebe of Guthrie Ok, Laurie Wolfington (Dee) of Guthrie, OK and Jeanette Neubauer (Duane) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family and many good friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Smith and Kernke Funeral Home (14624 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134).
The family has designated The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research, PO Box 4077, New York, New York 10163-4777 as appropriated for memorial donations.
