She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Murphy and Violet "Pat" Murphy (Robinson); her husband Roy Newman; her sister Christina Murphy; her in-laws, Leonard and Ethel Newman (Treiber); her brothers-in-law, Roger Newman and Jerry Newman; her nephews, Gregory Murphy and Christopher Beuchaw; and her niece-in-law Leisa Ryder (Newman).
She is survived by: her son Donnie of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, John McGee of Purcell, OK, Tricia Lynn of Maysville and Josh of Oklahoma City; her siblings, Vilene Savage (Jim) of Navada, Donna Nanney of Yukon, Kathy Burwell (Cary) of Yukon, Carol Hall of Yukon and Grover Murphy Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie, Mavis Newman of Madrid and Barbara Newman of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:45 PM at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel (1500 W Vandament Ave, Yukon, OK 73099). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church (600 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Yukon Cemetery (660 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
