She was predeceased by: her parents, William Irl and Mary Jane DeWesse (Griffith). She is survived by: her children, Anita Slater (Denny) of Indiana, Aaron Curl (Betty) of Indiana and Joe Kouba Hale (Oda) of Yukon, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the City of Yukon Senior Center, Yukon Mobile Meals, or a local library of your choice—organizations that were especially close to Shirley's heart.
