We announce the death of Gari Taylor Fickenscher (Albany, Oregon), born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 84. Gari will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Fickenscher and Evelyn Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his daughters, Kimberly Wigle (Michael) and Amy Fickensher; his grandson Brayden Wigle; and his siblings, Patti Cardwell (Milt) and Joe Casprowiak (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers his family suggests donations to Evergreen Hospice or Parkinsons Foundation.
