He is survived by: his parents, Juan Jose Torrez and Diana Mendoza (Linda); his wife Ashley Lizette Mendoza-Torrez; his children, Isaiah Gabriel Torrez, Josiah Micheal Torrez and Emarie Rose Mendoza-Torrez; his grandparents, Edwarda Mendoza and Tirso Mendoza; his aunt Angelina Marie Connell; his uncle Shannon Patrick Connell; and his cousins, Monica Hoang-Pedersen, Nicholas Thanh Hoang and Nathan Patrick Mendoza-Connell.
