She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ashworth and Shirley Ashworth; and her pet Rommie. She is survived by: her children, Matt Carpenter (Maria), Rachel Holt (Mike), Nancy Carpenter and Timothy Carpenter (Jennifer); her siblings, Carol Kent, Dennis Ashworth and Glen Ashworth; her close friends, Janet Burgess and Joyce Beemer; and her caregiver House. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
