Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kester and Opal Kester (McCuiston); his son Rick Kester; and his siblings, Ernest Kester and Patricia Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Zada Straley; his daughters, Debbie Kreitman (Kevin) and Shelly Marcotte (Kirk); his sister Louise Polo; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Joshua and Tyler. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
