He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Jack" Bilyeu and Leah Bilyeu; his wife Shirley Volz; his son Todd; his sister Irene; and his grandson Andrew.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Bilyeu (Karen) and Stacie Shelton (Rich); his siblings, Linda Gault Reynolds, Ray Bilyeu, Kay Bilyeu, Jack Bilyeu, Chuck Volz (Jan) and Debbie Volz (Brad); his grandchildren, Leah Roberts (Gil), Adam Bilyeu (Ashley), Jamie LaFollette, Jacob LaFollette, Jordan Bilyeu, Jesse Bilyeu and Robert Bilyeu (Anela); his great grandchildren, Cloe, Ruby, Harper, Leighton, Lily, Hudson and Mason; and his close friend Mary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (1910 34th Ave SE, Albany, OR 97322).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Evergreen Hospice in Albany, Oregon.
