It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Denise Hope (Albany, Oregon), who passed away on February 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grover Utzinger and Hazel Wallace Utzinger; her husband James; her brothers, Carl, Robert and Grover Utzinger; and her son Stuart John Hope.

She is survived by : her children, Gregory R. Hope, James L. Hope III, Marietta Zell and Madeleine Lewis (Guy); her grandchildren, Amy Hope-Cristando, Drew Lewis, Caitlin McKee and Connor Lewis; and her stepgrandson Doug Shelton. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.
