He was predeceased by: his mother Matilde Soto; his stepfather Sylvestre Soto; and his siblings, Gloria Munguia, Josephina Alaniz, Antonia Marines (Juan Marines), Ester Anderson (Kyle Anderson) and Guillermo Duran Jr..

He is survived by: his father Guillermo Duran Sr.; his stepmother Linda Duran; and his brother Manuel Duran (Leticia Duran).
