He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Ferris and Helen Ferris (Warren); his former life partner Jo Ann Tupper; his sister Donna Lee (Alex Eucare, Sr.); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Vanderzanden and Mary Derrick.

He is survived by : his wife Regina; his daughters, Julie Ann Hoover (Robert) of Hillsboro, Molly Lynne Ferris of Hillsboro and Mary Alice Smith (Perry); his grandson Ian Smith of Aloha; and his in-laws, Evelyn Chalustowski, Gene Vanderzanden, Diane Vanderzanden and Eilene VanGrunsven.
