With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Davis Tarter in Amity, Oregon, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Davis Tarter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Iona Meeker (Mabel); her brother Kenneth; her sisters-in-law, June and Bettie; and her niece Mary Anne.
She is survived by: her husband Royal Dean Tarter; her siblings, Anthony (Carolyn) and Susan (Richard); her daughters, Teresa (Matthew) and Diane; her son-in-law David (late Mary Anne); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ben), Lauren and Miles. She is also survived by great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Morningside United Methodist Church (3674 12th St SE, Salem, OR 97302).
