“My heartfelt condolences go out to Ashley's loved ones. I did not hear of her passing until now and am deeply saddened. I met Ashley in India where we almost spent a year together. She was only 19 and so wise, mature and intelligent. I remember her gentle spirit, her angelic voice (she could sing so beautifully) and her talent for languages. She had memorized a 45 minute chant in Sanskrit and was able to recite it perfectly. Ashley, may your soul rest in peace. Om shanti, shanti, shanti.”
