We announce the death of Floyd Jarvis in Ashland, Oregon, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Floyd will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Floyd will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Floyd will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Floyd’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Loree Hamblin; Maela, Kathryn and Dorothy. He is survived by: his father Earl Jarvis; his wife Mary Lynne Burkhart Jarvis; his children, Debby Smith (Erik), Scott Jarvis (Sirpa), Rebecca Wilder (Andrew), Karen Borchert (Brad) and Suzanne Cutler (Drew); and his siblings, Mervin and Virgene. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at 111 Clay St, Ashland, OR 97520.
