It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret J. Mercer (Ashland, Oregon), born in Perryton, Texas, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charley Alexander and Verlie Ester Thompson; and her siblings, Ralph Thompson, Ruby Burger, Shirley Havlik and Laura Urban.

She is survived by : her children, Allen (Kathryn), Marvin (Brenda), Callie, Corene Wylie (Buddy) and Laura; her grandchildren, David (Ryan), Jennifer Willis (Steven), Daniel (Kendall), Jeffrey and Nicholas; and her brothers, Charles Thompson of Klamath Falls and Glen Fredickson (Ester) of Medford. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
