With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Mae Holmstedt of Astoria, Oregon, born in Velva, North Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Liudahl and Myrtle Liudahl; her siblings, Shirley Clark and Donald Liudahl; and her granddaughter Amy Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Becky (Nelson), Scott (Sandi Holmstedt) and John Michael (Christene Holmstedt); and her grandchildren, Jayson Holmstedt (Andrea), Christopher Holmstedt (Leah), Ryan Holmstedt (Kirsten), Caryn Hilmes (Todd), David Nelson (Judi), Angie Holmstedt, Todd Holmstedt (Emma), Brian Conley (Kim) and Casey Conley (Krista). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

For months leading into the event that provided food boxes to hundreds of families, she shopped, collected donations, arranged volunteers and sorted through piles of paperwork.
