She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Peter Barendse and Helen Barendse (Travess); her former life partner Francis Hall Bagley; her adoptive sons, Lewis and William; her brother George Koljenon; her husband John Cheuvront; her friend Bunco; her sister Bess Gage; her children, Suzanne Martin, Helen "Tootsie" Bagley, Lewis Bagley, William Bagley and Steve Bagley; her foster sons, Carl Parker, George Koljenon, Fred Broberg and Ed Broberg; her grandchildren, Chris Peterson, Ian Peterson, Helena Patin, Tracy Short, Adam Bagley, Chad Bagley, William Bagley and Pamela; her sister Lisa; and also Ed Broberg. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren; and multitudes of relatives, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also a founding member of the Knappa Schools Foundation.
