With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Theodore Ranta in Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Ranta and Alice Lein Ranta; and his son Doug Ranta. He is survived by: his wife Sheila McCoy Ranta; his son Todd Ranta (Valerie); his sisters, Mary Alice Ranta (Ken Snyder), Marilyn Ranta and Ann Jordan (Dave); his sister-in-law Shelby Mogenson (Gary); his grandchildren, April Ranta, Allison Wright (John), Tyler Ranta (Chelsea) and Hailey Ranta-Cruz (David); and his great grandchildren, Axel, Trygve and Roman.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Lower Columbia Hospice (2160 Exchange St., Astoria) in Keith's memory are appreciated.
