It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Lesley Jasper of Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Edward Jasper and Leola Jasper (Burns); his wife Colleen Shephard; and his brothers, Billy, Ed and Emmet.

He is survived by : his sons, Pat and Rob Jasper (René); and his grandson Devin Jasper of Arizona. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Lower Columbia Hospice or the ILWU Local 50 Astoria High School Scholarship Fund.
