He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Jean (Jones) and Daniel Mose Boatman; and his sisters, Twyla Jean Boatman and Cynthia Mae Boatman. He is survived by: his siblings, Phil Boatman, Clay Boatman, Al Boatman, Ray Boatman and Lori Boatman; his sons, Jason Dean Boatman and Jeremy Daniel Boatman; and his nieces, Britnee (Tucker), Kathleen, Lori and Taylyn (Ashton). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.
