Jeremy Carter Obituary

Jeremy was born on September 22nd, 1980 and passed away on June 24th, 2026 at the age of 45.

Jeremy Allen Carter, 45, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away unexpectedly just after Father's Day.

Jeremy was born in Enterprise, Oregon, to Becky Carter and John Lewis. He attended school in Clarkston, Washington, and Moscow, Idaho. After leaving school during his junior year, he later returned to earn his diploma and was working toward an associate degree in Business Management through Colorado Technical University Online.

Although Jeremy worked many different jobs, his heart was always in farming and ranching. His work took him from North Dakota to Nevada before he settled in Baker City. He worked as a mechanic at Grumpy's, a ranch hand at Harrell's, a millwright at Natural Structures, and for Tom Bootsman, Inc.

Jeremy was a talented mechanic and natural gear-wrencher who loved riding and repairing motorcycles and snowmobiles. He also enjoyed farming, raising pigs, and sharing the knowledge and stories he gathered throughout his life. Those who knew him will remember his strong presence and the unmistakable way he filled a room.

Jeremy was a devoted husband to Brandi Bisson-Carter and a proud father to Seth, 22, Kayden, 19, and Jordynn, 4. He is also survived by his mother, Becky Carter; his father, John Lewis; his brother, Joel; his sister, Christina; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Steve.

Jeremy's life ended far too soon, but the memories, stories, and laughter he shared will continue to live on through those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 11th at 1:00 pm at Harvest Church, 3720 Birch Street in Baker City.

Following the service, everyone is invited to gather at Becky's home, 855 Valley Avenue, to share food, drinks, memories, and stories. All are welcome.
