He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Houtz and Geneva Houtz (Bushnell); his siblings, Bruce Houtz, Don Houtz and Judy Whitford; and his grandson Glenn Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Louise (Scott); his children, Kevin Houtz (Trish), Charlie Prior and KellyJo Griffin (Greg); and his sister Joanne Hopkins (Dave). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
