He was predeceased by: his wife Anneliese. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia and Peter; his granddaughter Brynil; and his sisters, Shirley, Christine and Karen.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1200 Easy St, Brookings, OR 97415). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Eagle Point National Cemetery (2763 Riley Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524).
