He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Lay and Delores M. Lay. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Lay, Mark Lay, Valerie Martin and Quentin Lay; his significant other Lisa Ferris; his children, Naim, D. Lay Ferris and Aaron J. Lay Ferris; and his grandchild Avery Ferris.
