With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Yonker (Beaverton, Oregon), born in Holland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Yonker and Juliet Yonker (Nyhuis); his daughter Kim Veenhuis; his brother Calvin; and his brother-in-law Sherwin Boersen.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Boersma; his daughters, Tammy Yonker of Portland, Jodi (David DeMots), Amy (Marc Morris) and Mindy (Bret Feinauer); his son-in-law Todd Veenhuis; his sister Norma Boersen of Holland; his sister-in-law Eunice Yonker of Zeeland; his grandchildren, Anna Ritt (Kyle), Tayler Long (Joel), Megan DeMots (Peter Walden), Jared Carpenter, Emily DeMots, Jordyn Rose (Brandon), Amanda Carpenter, Sydney Morris, Brookelynn Feinauer and Hailey Morris; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Wyatt Long, Carson and Beau Ritt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
