He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Boelts and Vance Boelts Sr.; and his daughter Marnie Boelts. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Brant (Jen); his grandson Brolin; his sisters, Brenda Chapin (Charlie) and Nedra Smith (Hugh); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Morse and Robert Svoboda (Tamara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
