It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Alexander Ottsman in Bend, Oregon, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sharon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sharon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her children, Steve and Susan; and her brother Ron. She is survived by: her son Gary Sawyer (Kelly); her stepchildren, Sonya Belcher, Keith Ottsman, Brad Ottsman and Elaina Dunham; and her siblings, Donna Robinson, Sandra Saling, Linda Behrent, Patricia Behrent and Keith Schroeder. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
